Executive Advising College Admissions Program

Executive Advising is Cogent's highest level of personalized, concierge admissions counseling, designed for students seeking a highly individualized experience, particularly those applying to Top 25–30 and other highly selective colleges.

20-25 Hours of Personalized 1:1 Advising + Optional Access to 6 Group Advising Sessions

Executive Advising is Cogent's highest level of personalized, concierge admissions counseling, designed for students seeking a highly individualized experience, particularly those applying to Top 25–30 and other highly selective colleges.


Unlike the Hybrid packages, Executive Advising is delivered primarily through personalized 1:1 counseling, allowing every aspect of the admissions journey to be tailored to each student's unique strengths, aspirations, and college goals. Students also receive optional access to all six Group Advising sessions for additional learning, reinforcement, and peer interaction.


Executive Advising Includes:

  • Everything included in Premier Hybrid

  • STRATEGIC review An Elite College Mentor, matched to the student's intended major, career interests, and field of study, providing continuity and personalized guidance throughout the admissions process. Includes Firsthand insight into academics, research, internships, campus opportunities, recruiting, and career pathways.

  • Founder review of the student's overall admissions strategy and application

  • Merit aid, financial aid & scholarship strategy, including college-based and external third-party scholarship opportunities

  • Advanced positioning and strategic refinement to maximize competitiveness for highly selective college admissions.

Executive Advising provides the highest level of personalized support, combining experienced college counselors, an Elite College Mentor, and multiple layers of expert review to maximize each student's opportunities for admission to their best-fit colleges.

High-touch strategy focused on academic and extracurricular positioning, differentiation, application narrative, college and major selection, and overall application strength.


Executive students also receive full access to all Group Advising sessions, providing additional counselor and college mentor perspectives, but participation is optional.

Learn how to craft compelling personal statements and supplemental essays while developing strategies to maximize scholarships, merit aid, and financial aid opportunities. What Admissions Officers Are Looking For & Building a Competitive Application

Learn what admissions officers are really looking for and how to build a compelling application through strong letters of recommendation, impactful extracurriculars, leadership, interviews, and a cohesive personal story. Learning Directly from College Mentors

Learn how to navigate application updates, deferrals, waitlists, and Letters of Continued Interest (LOCI) to maximize admission opportunities while receiving practical advice from accomplished college mentors on preparing for college, making the most of the next stage of the journey, and what they wish they had known before starting college.

College Transition, Essential Planning & College Mentor Guidance

Prepare for a successful transition to college by learning strategies for academic success, social adjustment, networking, internships, campus opportunities, and essential pre-college documentation that families often overlook.
